Revision of the Siberian Middle- and Upper Volgian ammonites, which were previously identified as Craspedites mosquensis Geras. allow their re-identification as a new species C. schulginae sp. nov. Among the figured ammonites one came from the presumable Middle Volgian also figured under the name C. cf. shulginae; latter ammonite also could be belongs to Subcraspedites
