A calcareous nannoplankton assemblage has been identified for the first time in the Tithonian of the Eastern Crimea. Nannofossils are presented by rare specimens and are of low diversity. The obtained data does not allow us to subdivide the Tithonian, but allow us to define its boundaries. The lower and upper boundaries are defined by the last occurrence of Stephanolithion bigotii and by the acme of Nannoconus respectively.
