After the revision of the terminology applied to the post-Triassic nautiloids and ammonoids in Spanish more than 350 words have been identified, which have been analysed and presented in alphabetical order with their respective etymologies, definitions, comments and English equivalents. As result of this work, a glossary, fundamentally practical, has been created as a tool for different specialists to write more precise and methodically the descriptions of these cephalopods or to interpret more easily the works of other authors in Spanish or in English languages.
