Sievoides kocyigiti Farinacci & Ekmekci, recently created in the Kimmeridgian of Turkey (Tethyan domain), is discovered in the Oxfordian and the Lower Kimmeridgian of the Moroccan Atlantic margin (Agadir basin). This large benthic foraminifera will be described and specified stratigraphically, is currently placed in the family of the Everticyclamminidae Septfontaine, 1988.
