Hall R.L., Poulton T.P. (2012) Callovian (Middle Jurassic) ammonite faunas from the Bowser Lake Group, Northern Bowser Basin, British Columbia // Revue de Paléobiologie, Vol. spéc. 11. P.379-397.

Ammonites of late Early or early Middle Callovian age belonging to the genera Cadoceras, C. (Stenocadoceras), and Indosphinctes are described and figured. Both macroconch and corresponding microconch specimens have been recognized for each taxon. All the material described here came from a single sandstone bed in the Muskaboo Creek Assemblage of the Bowser Lake Group at a locality 1.2 km south east from the peak of Tsatia Mountain, close to the northern margin of the Bowser Basin in northwestern British Columbia, Canada. One new species of Indosphinctes is recognized, with two varieties: Indosphinctes tsatiaensis var. angustus and I. tsatiaensis var. latus, apparently a unique occurrence of this Tethyan genus in North America. But true generic affinities of the latter ammonites could be matter of discussion, as it demonstrates well-revealed furrow in the ventral side.
