Dietze V., Schweigert G., Rieber H., Borer P. (2013) Neufunde von Ammoniten der Unterfamilie Erycitinae Spath, 1928 aus dem Aalenium (Mitteljura) des Schweizer Juras und des Wutach-Gebiets (SW-Deutschland) // Zitteliana. A. Bd.53. S.3-13.

Five species of the genus Erycites Gemmellaro, 1886 (E. fallifax Arkell, E. intermedius Hantken in Prinz, E. telegdirothi Prinz, E. cf. amplus Géczy, E. crassornatus Géczy) and two species of the genus Abbasites Buckman, 1921 (A. aff. abbas Buckman, A. gardincola (de Gregorio)) are recorded and described from the Aalenian of the Swiss Jura Mountains and the Wutach area. The specimens of Erycites in the Bradfordiensis Zone represent the stratigraphically youngest records of this genus, which is widespread in the Western Tethys, but migrated only sporadically in the adjacent Submediterranean Province of extraalpine Switzerland and Southern Germany.
