This book represents the up-to-date generaliztion on Jurassic microfauna, stratigraphy and palaeobiogeography of Siberia and Arctic region. The literature on Jurassic microfauna is analyzed, new data on bio- and lithostratigraphy and micropalaeontology of the Jurassic of Siberian region are given. The complete taxonomical composition of assemblages of foraminifers and ostracodes in the Jurassic of Siberia is defined in detail. Taxonomical and structural peculirities of even-aged microfauna assemblages from different facies are determined, and the stages of the development of Jurassic foraminifers and ostracodes of Boreal regions are established. For the first t ime, autonomous parallel zonal scales of the Lower and the Middle Jurassic on foraminifers and ostracodes are developed; zonal scale on foraminifers is substantially specified and improved for the Callovian and the Upper Jurassic of Siberia. The potential of these scales for intra- and interregional correlations of Jurassic deposits of different facies is determined.
