Ostracods and ammonites from Lower Callovian (elatmae Zone) of Saratov Region (Bartolomeevka section) were studied. Twelve ostracod species were identified and Beds with Pyrocytheridea pergraphica – Camptocythere (Anabarocythere) starcevae (elatmae Subzone) and Beds with Acanthocythere (Protoacantocythere) milanovskyi (lower part of subpatruus Subzone) are proposed. The first modern descriptions of 5 ostracod species important as stratigraphic indexes are given. The subspecies Procytherura didictyon rossica and species Camptocythere (Anabarocythere) starcevae are described as new taxa.
